Guardiola

Pep Guardiola came through the ranks of the club's La Masia youth academy to become a cornerstone of Johan Cruyff's classic 'Dream Team' that lifted the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 1991-1992. Guardiola was later awarded the club captaincy and became revered as one of the best midfielders in the game. His style of play in the 'pivot' role was hugely influential to a generation of La Masia graduates, including Xavi and Andrés Iniesta.
