Saviola
Argentina attacker Javier Saviola arrived at FC Barcelona with many pundits crowning him a potential heir to compatriot Diego Maradona. The forward enjoyed his debut season in Catalunya, scoring 21 goals in his first campaign. Javier remained a positive presence in the side for the next two seasons before spending time out on loan at Monaco and Sevilla before ending his Barça career in 2007.
